North Carolina High School Baseball - Southwestern Randolph loses to Providence Grove

The Southwestern Randolph Cougars baseball squad (Asheboro, NC), was overwhelmed 8-3 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC)

With the triumph, Providence Grove moves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Patriots travel to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC) to confront the Cougars in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A contest on Friday, March 14. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 2-4. Southwestern Randolph won 7-2 in their recent non-league contest against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC)

The Cougars now possess a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Asheboro for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 12. Southwestern Randolph will confront a Blue Comets squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to North Stanly (New London, NC). The Blue Comets record now stands at 2-4.
