In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Pittsburg Pirates volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Liberty Lions.

The Pirates (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Dons enter the non-league challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Acalanes was tipped by Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, March 13. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to Freedom (Oakley, CA).
