Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA), 2-1 in a league test.
With the win, Pittsburg advances its record to 11-5 on the season. The Pirates host Concord (Concord, CA) to face the Bears in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. The Bears go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Lions now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Antioch for a test on Tuesday, April 15.
