The Bainbridge Bearcats soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Dougherty Trojans to 1 in the Bearcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Bearcats now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Peach County for a 3A Area 1 bout on Friday, March 14. Bainbridge will play a Trojans squad coming off a 9-2 league win over Westover (Albany, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Dougherty moves to 1-8 on the year. The Trojans travel to Sherwood Christian Academy (Albany, GA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 18. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Sherwood Christian Academy won 9-0 in their recent non-league bout against St. Teresa's Catholic (Albany, GA)
