Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Bainbridge Bearcats (Bainbridge, GA) and the host Dougherty Trojans (Albany, GA), saw Bainbridge's soccer squad triumph over Dougherty by a count of 7-0.

The Bearcats (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Cairo (Cairo, GA). The Syrupmakers enter the 3A Area 1 battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Cairo tipped Monroe (Albany, GA), 11-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Westover Patriots (Albany, GA) in a 3A Area 1 battle, on Thursday, April 17. Dougherty will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 4-10 record after their 3-1 league loss to Peach County (Fort Valley, GA).
