The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Palestine-Wheatley Patriots (Palestine, AR) and the host Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR), observed Palestine-Wheatley's softball team get by Cross County by a tally of 7-6.

The Patriots (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against West Memphis (West Memphis, AR). The Blue Devils go into the non-league bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, West Memphis was nipped by Armorel (Armorel, AR), 22-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds clash with the Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 13. Cross County will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Hurricane go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 21-12 non-league loss to Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR).
