North Carolina High School Softball - Rosman can't get by Draughn

March 11, 2025: Valdese, NC 28690

The Draughn Wildcats edged the visiting Rosman Tigers softball squad by a count of 11-10 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 12. Draughn will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC).

The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Wildcats enter the Western Highlands 1A/2A challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Draughn edged Freedom (Morganton, NC), 12-4, in a non-league challenge.
