North Carolina High School Softball - Rosman Draughn

The Draughn Wildcats triumphed over the host Rosman Tigers softball squad by a count of 8-2 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Avery County Vikings (Newland, NC) in a Western Highlands 1A/2A challenge, on Tuesday, March 18. Draughn will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 17-2 league loss to Madison (Marshall, NC).

The Tigers now hold a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Henderson for a non-league game on Monday, March 17. Rosman will play a Knights squad coming off a 16-5 league loss to Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-5.
