The Mountain View Yellowjackets softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Marshall Bobcats to 8 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Tuesday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cave City for a 3A Region 2 battle on Thursday, March 13. Mountain View will confront a Cavemen team coming off a 15-0 league win over Valley Springs (Valley Springs, AR). The Cavemen record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Marshall moves to 0-2 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Cotter (Cotter, AR) to confront the Warriors in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 13. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 3-2. Cotter won 15-2 in their recent non-league battle against Valley Springs (Valley Springs, AR)
