In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Mountain View Yellowjackets softball team scored a tight 4-3 win over the Marshall Bobcats.

The Yellowjackets (6-7) will now prepare for their match against Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR). The Panthers come into the 3A Region 2 match with a 8-9 record. In their last match, Yellville-Summit was nipped by Flippin (Flippin, AR), 4-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR) in a 2A Region 2 match, on Thursday, April 17. Marshall will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Greyhounds come into the match with a 7-8 record after their 7-0 league loss to Izard County (Brockwell, AR).
