Texas High School Baseball - DeSoto loses to Lamar

The Lamar Vikings crushed the visiting DeSoto Eagles baseball team by a tally of 11-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Vikings now hold a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Timber Creek for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 15. Lamar will face a Falcons team coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Denton (Denton, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 6-2.

Next, the Eagles face the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes (Duncanville, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 bout, on Tuesday, March 15. DeSoto will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Panthers and Pantherettes enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Mansfield Legacy (Mansfield, TX).
