Texas High School Baseball - DeSoto loses to Lamar

The Lamar Vikings crushed the host DeSoto Eagles baseball team by a tally of 11-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Vikings now hold a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they host Martin for a 6A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, March 29. Lamar will face a Warriors team coming off a 4-3 league loss to South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 2-6.

Next, the Eagles face the Waco Lions (Waco, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 bout, on Tuesday, March 29. DeSoto will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 9-0 league loss to Mansfield (Mansfield, TX).
