The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM) and the visiting Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM), saw Mayfield's softball squad achieve victory over Organ Mountain by a count of 18-8.

The Trojans now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Artesia for a non-league match on Saturday, March 12. Mayfield will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Organ Mountain falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM) to face the Hawks in a non-league match on Saturday, March 12. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 4-2. Centennial won 14-2 in their recent non-league match against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM)
