In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Grimsley Whirlies lacrosse squad scored a tight 17-16 victory over the Western Guilford Hornets.
The Whirlies now have a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host West Forsyth for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 13. Grimsley will face a Titans squad coming off a 17-4 league loss to Davie (Mocksville, NC). The Titans record now stands at 0-5.
In their next game, the Hornets face the East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 14. Western Guilford will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 4-1 record after their 9-8 league loss to R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC).
