Georgia High School Baseball - Jones County defeats Locust Grove

March 12, 2025: Gray, GA 31032

The Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA) baseball trounced the visiting Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA), 18-10 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Greyhounds now own a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they host Union Grove for a AAAA Region 2 challenge on Friday, March 14. Jones County will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 12-3 league win over Hampton (Hampton, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-3.

With the defeat, Locust Grove drops to 6-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Ola (McDonough, GA) to clash with the Mustangs in a AAAA Region 2 challenge on Friday, March 14. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 13-1. Ola won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA)
