In Wednesday's non-league test, the Chesnee Eagles (Chesnee, SC) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC), by a tally of 10-0.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Blacksburg Wildcats (Blacksburg, SC) in a AA Region 1 test, on Thursday, March 13. Chesnee will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 3-2 record after their 14-0 league win over Brashier Middle College Charter (Simpsonville, SC).
The Centurions (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Aynor (Aynor, SC). The Blue Jackets go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Aynor prevailed over North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
