The Chesnee Eagles softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Broome Centurions to 1 in the Eagles non-league win on Wednesday.

The Eagles now possess a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host High Point Academy for a AA Region 1 battle on Friday, April 25. Chesnee will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 16-0 non-league loss to Crescent (Iva, SC). The Grizzlies record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Broome moves to 5-17 on the season. The Centurions host Mountain View Prep (Spartanburg, SC) to confront the Stars in a non-league battle on Friday, April 25. The Stars come into the battle with a record of 8-11.
