North Carolina High School Softball - South View bounces Lumberton

March 12, 2025: Hope Mills, NC 28348

The South View Tigers softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Lumberton Pirates to 0 in the Tigers league win on Wednesday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Purnell Swett for a United Eight 3A/4A battle on Friday, March 14. South View will confront a Rams team coming off a 11-9 league loss to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Rams record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Lumberton moves to 2-4 on the season. The Pirates host Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to confront the Bears in a United Eight 3A/4A battle on Friday, March 14. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 4-1. Gray's Creek lost 5-4 in their recent non-league battle against Union Pines (Cameron, NC)
