North Carolina High School Softball - South View bounces Lumberton

The South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) softball routed the host Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC), 13-1 in Friday's league outing.

The Tigers now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Purnell Swett for a United Eight 3A/4A outing on Tuesday, April 8. South View will encounter a Rams team coming off a 16-15 league loss to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Rams record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, Lumberton moves to 8-9 on the season. The Pirates travel to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to encounter the Bears in a United Eight 3A/4A outing on Tuesday, April 8. The Bears come into the outing with a record of 15-1. Gray's Creek won 21-0 in their recent league outing against Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC)
