South Carolina High School Baseball - May River holds off Philip Simmons

May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC), 10-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, May River upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Sharks host Yough (Herminie, PA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, March 17. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Philip Simmons falls to 1-2 on the season. The Iron horses travel to Beaufort (Beaufort, SC) to battle the Eagles in a 3A Region 8 test on Tuesday, March 14. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-0. Beaufort won 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Goose Creek (Goose Creek, SC)
