South Carolina High School Baseball - May River loses to Philip Simmons

The Philip Simmons Iron Horses crushed the host May River Sharks baseball team by a count of 15-4 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Iron Horses now possess a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Charleston for a 3A Region 8 bout on Tuesday, March 28. Philip Simmons will face a Cougars team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics (North Charleston, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-5.

Next, the Sharks face the Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC) in a 4A Region 7 bout, on Monday, March 27. May River will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Seahawks enter the bout with a 6-1 record after their 10-0 league win over Colleton County (Walterboro, SC).
