The Pinole Valley Spartans volleyball team (Pinole, CA), was dropped 3-1 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host Albany Cougars (Albany, CA)

The Cougars (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA). The Bruins enter the Tri-County challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, St. Patrick-St. Vincent defeated De Anza (El Sobrante, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Hercules Titans (Hercules, CA) in a Tri-County challenge, on Friday, March 15. Pinole Valley will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 3-2 league loss to El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA).
