North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Jacksonville drops to New Bern

March 13, 2024: New Bern, NC 28562

New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Jacksonville Cardinals (Jacksonville, NC), 11-6 in a league test.

The Bears now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Broughton for a non-league test on Friday, March 15. New Bern will face a Capitals squad coming off a 8-7 non-league win over East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Capitals record now stands at 6-2.

In their next game, the Cardinals face the Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC) in a Big Carolina/Northeastern Coastal test, on Monday, March 18. Jacksonville will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to West Carteret (Morehead City, NC).
