Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Braswell Bengals (Little Elm, TX), 13-3 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 18-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Allen for a 6A Region I District 5 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Guyer will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 13-4 league win over McKinney (McKinney, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 19-4.

With the loss, Braswell falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Bengals host Prosper (Prosper, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 6A Region I District 5 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 9-12. Prosper won 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Boyd (McKinney, TX)
