Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Berry Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 16-6 in a league game.
With the triumph, Ballantyne Ridge improves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Wolves travel to Palisades (Charlotte, NC) to face the Pumas in a So Meck 4A game on Tuesday, March 18. The Pumas enter the game with a record of 3-5. Palisades lost 16-0 in their recent non-league game against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC)
The Cardinals now hold a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Chambers for a non-league game on Monday, March 17. Berry will face a Cougars squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 3-1.
