The New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX) softball nipped the visiting Harmony Eagles (Big Sandy, TX), 2-1 in Thursday's league outing.

The Eagles now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Daingerfield for a 3A Region II District 15 outing on Tuesday, March 18. New Diana will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 14-1 league loss to Hughes Springs (Hughes Springs, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Harmony moves to 6-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Jefferson (Jefferson, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 3A Region II District 15 outing on Tuesday, March 18. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 7-7. Jefferson won 5-1 in their recent league outing against Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX)
