North Carolina High School Softball - Jack Britt edges Purnell Swett

March 13, 2025: Pembroke, NC 28372

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Jack Britt Buccaneers softball team scored a tight 11-9 victory over the Purnell Swett Rams.

The Buccaneers (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC). The Falcons go into the United Eight 3A/4A match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Seventy-First by South View (Hope Mills, NC), 16-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Rams battle the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A match, on Friday, March 14. Purnell Swett will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers go into the match with a 6-0 record after their 11-0 league win over Lumberton (Lumberton, NC).
