North Carolina High School Softball - Jack Britt sneaks past Purnell Swett

April 4, 2025: Fayetteville, NC 28306

The Jack Britt Buccaneers softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Purnell Swett Rams to 15 in the Buccaneers league win on Friday.

The Buccaneers now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seventy-First for a United Eight 3A/4A battle on Tuesday, April 8. Jack Britt will confront a Falcons team coming off a 23-0 league loss to Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Purnell Swett moves to 6-9 on the season. The Rams host South View (Hope Mills, NC) to confront the Tigers in a United Eight 3A/4A battle on Tuesday, April 8. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 12-3. South View won 13-1 in their recent league battle against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC)
