The Oneonta Redskins got by the visiting Locust Fork Hornets softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Redskins meet the Sardis Lions (Boaz, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 17. Oneonta will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Etowah (Attalla, AL).
The Hornets (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Holly Pond (Holly Pond, AL). The Broncos go into the non-league challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Holly Pond was nudged by Cold Springs (Bremen, AL), 16-6, in a non-league challenge.
