Georgia High School Baseball - Commerce defeats Oglethorpe County

March 13, 2026: Lexington, GA 30648

In Friday's league game, the visiting Commerce Tigers baseball team scored a nice 10-2 win over the Oglethorpe County Patriots.

The Tigers (8-7) will now prepare for their game against Rabun County (Tiger, GA). The Wildcats go into the A D1 Region 8 game with a 4-9 record. In their last game, Rabun County was overwhelmed by Banks County (Homer, GA), 12-0, in a league game.

Next, the Patriots play the Athens Academy Spartans (Athens, GA) in a A D1 Region 8 game, on Tuesday, March 17. Oglethorpe County will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 9-5 record after their 13-3 league loss to Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA).
