Tennessee High School Softball - Fayette Ware succumbs to Middleton

March 13, 2026: Somerville, TN 38068

In Friday's non-league test, the Middleton Tigers (Middleton, TN) softball squad overwhelmed the host Fayette Ware Wildcats (Somerville, TN), by a tally of 17-8.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Fayette Academy Vikings (Somerville, TN) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 17. Middleton will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 11-8 non-league win over Lakeland Preparatory (Lakeland, TN).

The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Bolivar Central (Bolivar, TN). The Tigers go into the 3A District 14 test with a 0-0 record.
