The Falls Lake Firebirds baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Southern Wake Academy Lions to 0 in the Firebirds non-league victory on Monday.
The Firebirds (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Granville Central (Stem, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Granville Central was overwhelmed by East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC), 5-4, in a non-league match.
The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Hawks go into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Seaforth gained a win over River Mill (Graham, NC), 16-1, in a non-league match.
