North Carolina High School Baseball - Falls Lake can't hold off Southern Wake Academy

The Southern Wake Academy Lions baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Falls Lake Firebirds to 8 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.
The Lions (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC). The Knights go into the Central Tar Heel 1A match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Chatham Charter tipped Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC), 10-1, in a league match.
The Firebirds (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Franklinton (Franklinton, NC). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Franklinton got by Southern Nash (Bailey, NC), 9-3, in a league challenge.
