Winnsboro Raiders (Winnsboro, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Harmony Eagles (Big Sandy, TX), 11-1 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Quitman for a 3A Region II District 13 challenge on Tuesday, March 15. Winnsboro will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-4 league loss to Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Harmony falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Mineola (Mineola, TX) to face the Yellowjackets in a 3A Region II District 13 challenge on Wednesday, March 16. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 2-9. Mineola won 21-2 in their recent league challenge against Winona (Winona, TX)
