Texas High School Baseball - Jones loses to Orange Grove

The Jones Trojans baseball team (Beeville, TX), was overwhelmed 5-0 in Tuesday's league outing with the visiting Orange Grove Bulldogs (Orange Grove, TX)

The Bulldogs now hold a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ingleside for a 4A Region IV District 30 outing on Tuesday, March 21. Orange Grove will face a Mustangs team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-7.

Next, the Trojans face the Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 30 outing, on Friday, March 17. Jones will attempt to advance on its 5-12 season record. The Pirates enter the outing with a 15-1 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Taft (Taft, TX).
