In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Lumberton Pirates baseball team scored a tight 9-5 victory over the South View Tigers.

The Pirates (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Bears go into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Gray's Creek tipped Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC), 12-3, in a non-league game.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Purnell Swett was overwhelmed by Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC), 8-3, in a non-league game.
