The Lumberton Pirates crushed the visiting South View Tigers baseball team by a count of 7-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Pirates now possess a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gray's Creek for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 18. Lumberton will face a Bears team coming off a 11-2 non-league win over Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Bears record now stands at 6-3.

Next, the Tigers face the Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 18. South View will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 3-9 record after their 9-5 non-league win over Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC).
