North Carolina High School Softball - South Stokes bounces Alleghany

The South Stokes Sauras routed the visiting Alleghany Trojans softball squad by a count of 28-0 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Sauras (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears go into the Northwest 1A battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Mount Airy was routed by East Wilkes (Ronda, NC), 23-2, in a league battle.

The Trojans now sport a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Watauga for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 15. Alleghany will meet a Pioneers squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-3.
