The crowd at Monday's league match between the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) and the host Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), saw South Stokes's softball squad achieve victory over Alleghany by a count of 22-0.

The Sauras now sport a 17-1 record. They take the field next when they host North Stokes for a Northwest 1A match on Tuesday, April 25. South Stokes will face a Vikings squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-14.

With the loss, Alleghany falls to 0-19 on the campaign. The Trojans host Starmount (Boonville, NC) to face the Rams in a Northwest 1A match on Tuesday, April 25. The Rams enter the match with a record of 7-10. Starmount lost 15-1 in their recent league match against South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC)
