New Mexico High School Softball - Chaparral bounces Hot Springs

March 14, 2023: Truth or Consequences, NM 87901

The Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM) softball routed the host Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM), 24-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Lobos (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Cobre (Bayard, NM). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 4-5 record. In their last bout, Cobre toppled Goddard (Roswell, NM), 6-1, in a non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Lordsburg for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 18. Hot Springs will confront a Mavericks squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Non Varsity Opponent (, ). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-1.
