North Carolina High School Softball - Draughn bounces Owen

The Draughn Wildcats routed the visiting Owen Warhorses softball squad by a final score of 8-3 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Wildcats (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against McDowell (Marion, NC). The Titans go into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, McDowell held off T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC), 24-0, in a league battle.

The Warhorses now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Draughn for a Western Highlands 1A/2A battle on Thursday, March 16. Owen will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over McDowell (Marion, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-0.
