North Carolina High School Softball - Owen tipped by Draughn

The Draughn Wildcats softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Owen Warhorses to 7 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Draughn improves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Madison (Marshall, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a Western Highlands 1A/2A game on Tuesday, March 21. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 4-3. Madison won 17-0 in their recent league game against Mitchell (Bakersville, NC)

In their next game, the Warhorses clash with the Erwin Warriors (Asheville, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 20. Owen will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 0-7 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Pisgah (Canton, NC).
