The Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA) softball routed the host West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), 21-12 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Red Devils (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Middlesex (Saluda, VA). The Chargers go into the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Middlesex toppled Northumberland (Heathsville, VA), 19-0, in a non-league bout.

The Pointers now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Essex for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 16. West Point will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Mathews (Mathews, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
