The Mission San Jose Warriors held off the visiting Irvington Vikings volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Warriors now have a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Foothill for a non-league test on Friday, March 15. Mission San Jose will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league win over De La Salle (Concord, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 10-2.

The Vikings (1-8) will now prepare for their test against American (Fremont, CA). The Eagles enter the Mission Valley test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, American held off Kennedy (Fremont, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
