New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Gladewater Bears (Gladewater, TX), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to White Oak for a 3A Region II District 15 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. New Diana will face a Roughnecks squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Sabine (Gladewater, TX). The Roughnecks record now stands at 15-5.

With the loss, Gladewater falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Bears host Daingerfield (Daingerfield, TX) to face the Tigers in a 3A Region II District 15 challenge on Friday, March 22. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 8-4.
