New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Gladewater Bears (Gladewater, TX), 17-3 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 17-7 record. They take the field next when they host White Oak for a 3A Region II District 15 challenge on Friday, April 5. New Diana will face a Roughnecks squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Sabine (Gladewater, TX). The Roughnecks record now stands at 20-5.

With the loss, Gladewater falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Bears host Hughes Springs (Hughes Springs, TX) to face the Mustangs in a 3A Region II District 15 challenge on Friday, April 5. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 16-10. Hughes Springs won 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Daingerfield (Daingerfield, TX)
