The Surry Central Golden Eagles softball team (Dobson, NC), was routed 17-1 in Thursday's league test with the host West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC)

Coming up next, the Blackhawks encounter the Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) in a Foothills 2A test, on Tuesday, March 19. West Wilkes will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Falcons enter the test with a 3-4 record after their 3-2 non-league win over East Wilkes (Ronda, NC).
