The Providence Christian Academy Storm (Lilburn, GA) baseball trounced the host Athens Academy Spartans (Athens, GA), 11-0 in Friday's league challenge.

The Storm now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elbert County for a A D1 Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 18. Providence Christian Academy will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 2-0 league win over Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-4.

With the defeat, Athens Academy drops to 5-8 on the year. The Spartans host Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA) to clash with the Patriots in a A D1 Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 18. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Oglethorpe County won 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Commerce (Commerce, GA)
