North Carolina High School Soccer - South View knocks off Douglas Byrd

Fans at Friday's league battle between the South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) and the visiting Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC), saw South View's soccer squad triumph over Douglas Byrd by a count of 10-1.
The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Pirates enter the United Eight 3A/4A battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Lumberton was overwhelmed by Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Eagles battle the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A battle, on Tuesday, March 18. Douglas Byrd will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 9-0 league win over Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC).
