North Carolina High School Baseball - South View defeats Lumberton

March 15, 2022: Lumberton, NC 28358

South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC), 5-0 in a league test.

With the win, South View upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Hoke County (Raeford, NC) to battle the Bucks in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 16. The Bucks come into the test with a record of 0-7. Hoke County lost 11-0 in their recent league test against Lee County (Sanford, NC)

With the defeat, Lumberton falls to 2-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to battle the Bears in a United Eight 3A/4A test on Friday, March 18. The Bears come into the test with a record of 4-2. Gray's Creek won 11-0 in their recent non-league test against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC)
